Breakfast Manager -Grand Brasserie, Grand Central StationWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicatedEarly Morning Breakfast Managerto join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for delivering exceptional breakfast experiences in oursoon to open 400-seat French brasserie located in Grand Central Station. This bustling establishment will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, catering to commuters, touristsand local diners alike. The ideal candidate will have a passion for French cuisine, exceptional leadership skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to open the restaurant at 4:30 am.Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate all front-of-house operations during service Manage and train a large team of hosts, servers, and support staff to ensure excellent service Create and adjust staff schedules to meet the demands of peak hours and seasonal fluctuations Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests, personally greeting and seating them during busy periods Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards in all dining areas Manage reservations and handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain food quality and consistency Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies for front-of-house operations Implement and maintain cash handling and POS procedures Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume establishment Strong knowledge of French cuisine and wine Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late nights, weekends and holidays Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds High energy and stamina to manage a large, busy restaurant The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of an exciting new venture in one of New York City's most iconic locations, combining the charm of a Parisian brasserie with the energy of Grand Central Station.
